The MikroTik wAP ax LTE7 kit is the newest member of the popular wAP series. This compact and durable wireless access point combines Wi-Fi 6 technology with a CAT7 LTE modem, providing reliable and high-speed internet connectivity even in challenging environments such as rural areas, gas stations, or bus stops. Its IP66-rated, weatherproof and vandal-resistant new-generation sleek case enhances security with a hidden anti-vandal screw while easily adapting to any environment. Technically powerful, the device features a dual-core ARM architecture IPQ-5010 processor clocked at 800 MHz, 256 MB RAM, and 128 MB NAND storage. The dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) Wi-Fi 6 radio with 2x2 MIMO support and high antenna gain (6.9 dBi at 2.4 GHz, 7 dBi at 5 GHz) provides seamless coverage over a wide area. The CAT7 LTE modem supports download speeds up to 300 Mbps and upload speeds up to 100 Mbps, extended frequency bands including B28 (700 MHz) and B32 (1500 MHz), and carrier aggregation (2xCA) technology for superior performance and efficiency in congested networks. This device is an ideal solution for homes, summer houses, or small businesses in rural areas with insufficient wired internet infrastructure. With two Gigabit Ethernet ports, you can connect an external device (e.g., a security camera or desktop computer) via cable, and benefit from flexible power options with PoE-In and DC jack support. RouterOS v7 operating system and CAPsMAN support allow centralized management of multiple devices, and strong VPN performance enables secure remote connections.
