The vSOL V2801SG is an XPON dual-mode optical network unit (ONU) that combines carrier-grade security with high performance. Its compact and durable design automatically adapts to both EPON and GPON infrastructures for flexible use. With rogue ONU detection and hardware Dying Gasp, it maximizes network security while ensuring uninterrupted connectivity even in harsh environments thanks to a wide operating temperature range. Technically, the V2801SG offers 1 Gigabit Ethernet port and a transmission distance of up to 20 km, with a high-sensitivity optical receiver for stable data transmission. It is equipped with advanced firewall (DDOS protection, ACL/MAC/URL filtering) and VLAN management Layer 2/3 features. Additionally, IGMP snooping support enables high performance in multimedia applications such as IPTV. This ONU is ideal for FTTH (home), FTTO (office), and SOHO broadband access scenarios. Its security-focused design protects operators' network infrastructure from unauthorized access while providing a reliable solution for video surveillance systems and corporate network connections. With flexibility to operate in both bridge and router modes, it easily integrates into different network topologies.
