The Ubiquiti SM-SP-40 sunMAX SolarPoint is a remotely manageable, intelligent MPPT charge controller. Designed for users who want to manage and monitor solar energy systems from a central point, it features a durable white housing suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, with IPX4 protection against dust and splashing water. Its technical strengths include MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology that efficiently processes PV panel input in the 10-60V DC range, and a charging capacity of up to 7A for 24V DC systems. Additionally, the built-in four-port 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet switch provides 24V PoE output to directly power network devices. Remote management and integrated AI algorithms with weather forecasting enable real-time monitoring and optimization of system performance. The Ubiquiti SM-SP-40 is ideal for providing reliable power in off-grid or critical remote locations. It is an excellent solution for running PoE-powered devices such as security cameras, access points, or small-scale telecom equipment together with a solar panel and battery system. Installation is easy, and all charging processes can be centrally managed via the UISP interface.
