The Tachyon Networks TNA-305X is a versatile base station that delivers fiber-like performance in the 60 GHz millimeter wave band while providing uninterrupted connectivity thanks to its integrated 5-7 GHz backup radio. This modular device simplifies installation with 90-degree 3D beam steering and can be converted into highly directional, long-range links with optional antenna kits (AK-100, AK-150, AK-300). Supporting both Point-to-Point (PTP) and Point-to-Multi-Point (PTMP) topologies, the TNA-305X can manage up to 32 clients per sector simultaneously. A key technical advantage is the integrated 5-7 GHz (WiFi-7) backup radio that activates in adverse weather conditions such as heavy rain that can affect the 60 GHz band, ensuring connection continuity. The device offers real-world throughput up to 2.3 Gbps and a range exceeding 8 km with suitable antenna kits. A 2.5G Ethernet port supports high-speed data transfer, while the built-in GPS receiver provides precise synchronization. Data security is ensured with AES 128+ and 256+ encryption standards. The TNA-305X is ideal for professional network infrastructures requiring high capacity and reliable connectivity, including inter-building backbone links, multi-gigabit last-mile internet distribution, and wide-area video surveillance networks with high-resolution IP cameras. It is also ideal for providing "fiber through the air" services in rural and urban areas where laying fiber optic cable is costly or impossible. The built-in 2.4 GHz management radio greatly simplifies installation and configuration.
