The Tachyon TNA-301 is a high-capacity wireless access point operating in the 60 GHz millimeter wave band. Thanks to 3D beamforming technology, installation is extremely easy and does not require physical antenna alignment. Its wide antenna coverage of 120 degrees horizontal and 50 degrees vertical makes it ideal as a central base station, especially in point-to-multipoint (PtMP) topologies. It delivers fiber-like performance with real-world speeds up to 2.3 Gbps and support for up to 32 clients per sector. The 2.5G Ethernet port ensures seamless transfer of this high speed to the wired network, while an additional 1G port can provide PoE output to an external device such as a security camera. Security is provided by AES-GCMP encryption, while dual bootbank architecture and a wide operating temperature range (-30°C to 60°C) ensure industrial durability. This device is ideal for scenarios where running fiber is costly or difficult, such as campus networks, inter-building connections, and high-capacity video surveillance systems. Using the noise-free 60 GHz band, it can establish high-speed connections over distances up to 1 km without a license. When paired with the TNA-302 client model, its quick installation and software-based management save significant time and labor in professional network setups.
