The MikroTik RBwAPG-60ad (wAP 60G) is a specialized wireless access point designed for ultra-high-speed point-to-point wireless connections using 60 GHz technology. This device provides a low-latency, secure connection that can replace traditional Gigabit Ethernet cables. Its compact and weatherproof (IP55) housing makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. It comes as a kit of two devices and is easy to install. The technical strengths of this product include achieving 1 Gbit full duplex data transfer speed using the 60 GHz frequency band. The integrated 60-degree phased array antenna focuses the signal for a more stable connection and less interference. The device supports 802.3af/at PoE, allowing it to receive both power and data over a single Ethernet cable, increasing installation flexibility. Its powerful 716 MHz processor and 256 MB RAM provide sufficient performance to run all features of the RouterOS operating system smoothly. The MikroTik wAP 60G is ideal for scenarios requiring a high-speed bridge connection between buildings. It can be used to connect office blocks, warehouses, or campus buildings. It delivers stable performance at distances of 200 meters or more with clear line of sight. Additionally, the 60 GHz connection is unaffected by congested 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks, providing a clean, high-bandwidth channel even in dense urban environments.
