The UISP airMAX LiteBeam M5 (LBE-M5-23) is a lightweight, compact outdoor CPE unit designed for long-range wireless connectivity. Operating in the 5 GHz frequency band, it leverages unlicensed spectrum to establish high-speed point-to-point or point-to-multipoint bridge connections. With a robust outdoor enclosure and easy-to-mount design, it offers a cost-effective and reliable solution for professional users and WISPs (Wireless Internet Service Providers). Technically, the device's strongest features are its 23 dBi gain antenna and output power up to 25 dBm. This combination enables stable connections over distances exceeding 30 km. Thanks to the built-in InnerFeed technology, the radio system is integrated with the antenna feed, optimizing signal quality. Additionally, the proprietary airMAX TDMA protocol efficiently manages network traffic, reducing latency and increasing scalability. With a wide operating temperature range (-40°C to 70°C), it can operate smoothly even in the harshest climatic conditions. The LiteBeam M5 serves as an excellent customer terminal (CPE) for WISPs providing broadband access, especially in rural areas. It can also be used to establish a point-to-point bridge between two branch offices or to connect a security camera network to a central point. The flexible three-axis mounting system with a built-in bubble level for easy alignment significantly reduces installation time and requires no special tools.
