The Ubiquiti Networks AM-5G20-90 is a high-performance 2x2 MIMO sector antenna operating in the 5 GHz frequency band. Designed specifically for wireless internet service providers (WISPs) and enterprise campus connections, this model offers a 90-degree sector coverage area to provide high-capacity connectivity to a wide user base. Its weather-resistant construction and included mounting kit ensure reliable performance in outdoor installations against harsh weather conditions. The antenna's technical strengths include a high gain of up to 20 dBi combined with 2x2 MIMO technology, enabling stable and high-speed connections over long distances. Additionally, a minimum of 28 dB cross-polarization isolation improves signal quality and network capacity, while a low VSWR of 1.5:1 ensures efficient power transfer. The 2-degree electrical downtilt feature allows precise adjustment of the coverage area during installation. The AM-5G20-90 antenna can be paired with a RocketM5 or RocketM5 GPS radio to form a full-featured base station. This setup is ideal for providing broadband access to many clients in high-density environments such as school campuses, hotels, residential complexes, or industrial facilities. With its robust metal construction and 125 mph wind survivability, it stands out as a durable, low-maintenance infrastructure component.
