The Ubiquiti AM-5G16-120 is a professional sector antenna operating in the 5 GHz frequency band with a wide 120-degree horizontal beamwidth. Compatible with airMAX technology, this antenna provides an ideal base station solution for wireless internet service providers (WISPs) and enterprise point-to-multipoint (PtMP) installations. Its robust, weather-resistant outdoor design promises long-lasting and reliable performance. Key technical strengths include 16 dBi high gain and 2x2 MIMO dual-polarity configuration. This combination ensures stable connections over long distances and increases data throughput and efficiency. Notable cross-polarization isolation maintains signal quality, while seamless integration with Ubiquiti RocketM radios allows for easy creation of a flexible, high-performance base station. The Ubiquiti AM-5G16-120 is an excellent choice for providing high-capacity wireless network access in densely populated areas. It can be easily installed on a pole or tower using the universal mount, and as a sector antenna, it is used to distribute high-speed internet over a wide area (120°) from a single point. This makes it highly suitable for scenarios such as urban WISP networks, campus areas, or industrial facilities.
